Hiya guys

Grand Prix Models out on the EastRand have quite a nice stock of Valejo AB paints.
Dont think theres anyone else in the country that stocks them, and at 30 bucks a pop, not bad value for money.
They on North Rand Road, about a K up the road from East Rand Mall opposite the McDonalds, youll see a big sign on the left had sign

Cha

That's really great news, I was sent a bottle of their 'Plastic Putty', it's great for filling cracks and joint lines. Run the botle ove the joint/crack and allow to set for few minutes and remove the excess with a wet cotton bud. What could be simpler?
I don't know the price but it should be chaeaper than Tamiya Putty.
From what I've heard the paints are really top class, if you Google Vallejo and go into there site there are lots of how to downloads plus a full colour chart. They don't only do model paints, have a look.

Hi Guys

Update on Grand Prix Models...
Popped in there at lunchtime. They have a very extensive range of plastic. Airfix, Revell, Trumpeter, Bronco etc and loads of the new releases like the HK 1:32 B25 and the Gallery Models 1/350 Iwo Jima. Also spotted the new Sdkfz 221 from Bronco (2 versions) and loads of other mouth watering goodies. They have a nice stock of Airfix and Revell kits very reasonably priced including some of the latest releases. (1/48th quad and vehicle crew coming sooooooon).
Their new shop really is a Mega Hobby store, well worth the trip and take LOTS of moolah...
