This is going to be my next armour after the Autoblinda and Kugelblitz. I should be starting it late December early Jan 2014....

I'm looking forward to this as it's, historically speaking, the oldest vehicle i have ever built.

They are'nt all bad Steve, detail is rather sparse (hence the add on's) but again i find them value for money. This kit as it is with the two AM's cost me in total:
KIT - R 120.00
FRUILS - R 340.00 (+/- INCLUDING POSTAGE)
ED PE - R 130.00 (+/- INCLUDING POSTAGE)

TOTAL R 580.00 all up

A decent dragon kit would be about R 360.00 but the final result would never be as good or detailed as the first option using the CMK kit.

Then add in the enjoyment of the build - i do bitch about PE but the fact that I keep using it just shows that in the end I feel it's worth the effort and the results are always far better than stock kits so..... for me CMK is a good kit for your buck - extras or not.

Coolo, thanks for that.

Where the hell do you get Fruils and Eduard so cheap?

I just bought the full set for my Bradley and it cost like a 800 bucks for 4 sheets. (from HK)

There's the problem - hobby link is a rip off. I buy all my stuff from Hannants. As a signed up customer you get even better deals than normal and postage from the UK is miles cheaper than from Japan.

I'm starting to re-evaluate my opinion of this particular CMK kit - the truth is, it's a piece of shit! DO NOT BUY OR ACCEPT IT AS A GIFT!!!! The person giving it to you does not like you. Everything fits poorly, the plastic is super soft shit so care is essential when cutting bits off the sprue, sink marks in really bad places, hardly any guide pins and the bogeys are flimsy, fiddly affairs. Starting to regret getting fruil tracks for this, it seems a bit of a waste really but i'll see what the thing looks like after primer and then i'll decide to use them or save them for a better kit.

Oooh, so do I get the feeling here that its not a very good kit  Smile
Isnt there a new one from Hobby Boss or something you could use the tracks on?
