Hi Colin burgess here. I'm 66 retired in Sedgefield, heart of the Garden Route, lifes too busy for retirement so I thougth why not join you merry band of modellers and see what's cooking.
My interests formost are helicopters, plus I rather like helicopters but will do the odd jet, Fleet Air Arm sunject and of couse bikes, MoptoGP and SBK. I like vacform kits and I dabble in scratch building.
I'm the master modelmaker behind ROTORcraft helicopter conversion and I've recently taken up painting, check out my Facebook page if you Like!

Junglie comes from my days as a Junglie helo maintainer on Wessex HU5's

Hi Colin, welcome to our little corner of the net. Please post up a link to your facebook page - would love to check it out. I'm hoping to pile in a lot of links here including all the local IPMS chapter sites soon.

Hi Geoff and Phil, Thanks for the welcome, I think you've both hit on a great idea to pull local modellers closer together and is it needed! OK, yes Durban club has it's website, GRSM has it's Facebook page and we here in George will have our own soon. The new IPMS SA Facebook page is not attracting the traffic it should and the unofficial SAAF site tends to go in stits and farts!
So hopefull here it can all come together.

PS. how can I add apic to my profile????

Hi Colin - to add a pic to your profile, you need to first go to the menu bar and right click on profile. Then you will see another menu starting with "Information" in bold at the top of the board. In there you will see "Avatar" click on that and follow the promps. You attach pics much the same way as in the threads but resize your pic to about 90x90 which is the required Avatar size. Let me know if you have any problems.
